Cultivating positive strategies for growth and change.
My work with adult patients typically involves identifying what is causing them distress in the present moment and exploring unhealthy psychological patterns.
My work with adult patients typically involves identifying what is causing them distress in the present moment and exploring unhealthy psychological patterns.
We work together to develop effective strategies for processing experiences and behaviors so they can move forward, equipped with coping tools they can use to manage their mental health.
I use an integrationist approach where I incorporate various therapeutic modalities, such as psychodynamic therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), internal family systems therapy (IFS), and interpersonal therapy (IPT), the combination of which is designed to uniquely suit each patient’s needs. Above all, I help my patients better understand themselves so they can confidently address pain points and habits and improve their overall quality of life.
Most adults that I treat struggle with issues that are either reoccurring or are a consequence of past events. I assist my adult patients to identify the connection between past and present circumstances and help them to effectively restructure maladaptive patterns in their life. Together, we develop useful strategies to overcome and manage difficulties to promote enduring growth and happiness.
